OMG THEY KILLED OFF ALL TE WRONG PEOPLE!

Omg the person who survived, shes the reason all of this happened.

Alright when her "bf" died. he was saving her, because she slipped up and made a sound.

When her friend died in the car thing, with the tree, if he dumbass would have let go, she wouldnt have died like that.

si si, she died because SHE DIDNT MOVE THE BOARD!

i agree. i was so pissed when her boyfriend or whatever died for her because it was her mistake and SHE should have died.. it would have been a better movie if she just died in the beginning...

Obviously, this answer is years late but since I just watched the movie for the first time, I figured I might as well answer your question. Ordinarily, you would be right about it being the boyfriend's fault. But in this particular case, she acts like a jerk and rides her bike past his car. Then, he calls out to her and asks her to stop. When she eventually does, she's about 25 feet away which forces him to get out his car. If she had initially stopped to talk to him where he was waiting, then he would still have been sitting in his car when Ray pulled up behind them. So, the boyfriend would've been able to drive over the bridge and pull over out of the way on the side of the road. This would have meant that Ray never would have had to go around on the wrong side of the road. It was her ignoring the boyfriend that was the actual cause of the accident.

I really agree. The only "okay" person in the movie was him, or maybe one more. He was the one saving her coward ass with his own currage, while she was mostly only embarrassing and stupid, as horrormoviechicks mostly are these days. Much prefer Japanese Horror!:-)
