The typical stupid stuff that characters do in these movies! Don't run when you have the chance, take your eyes off the bad guy, go places you shouldn't, etc...
The stupidest part was where they were driving with the girl stretched between vehicles and she was impaled. How about letting go of her? Duh!!!

I sort of feel the same way. It was somewhat enjoyable, but still a dumb movie.
What got me the most is that Cece seemed to indicate that Ray was after her specifically since she was her grandmother's last descendant. She said he wanted to kill her and would kill anyone in his path to get to her. So, once he killed her, why did he keep killing the others? I mean, if Cece was wrong and he was just going to kill randomly without motivation, than why waste his time chasing Eric and Eden? And it's neat that her grandmother was so powerful to do all the stuff she did, but her protection spell on the house was pretty worthless since Ray could easily destroy the house.
I dunno. It was an awfully idiotic film, but I didn't have a bad time watching it. I am just happy I watched it for free.
