Is Kochie a wife beater?

I remember hearing he was arrested for battery charge against his wife, he was taken down to the station but let go without any charges. I've been telling people that he's a wife-beater in conversation, but after a few Google searches it's looking like the whole thing might have been a figment of my imagination.
Does anyone else remember hearing this story, or have a soiled a good man's name?
