missed part 2 - stupid tv listings

I don't know if other people's cable is like this, but on the listing I get through my DVR, it never lists whether a show or movie is part 1 of 2 or anything like that, so I thought I was recording a 2 hour movie, and at the end it said 'to be continued.' So annoying. Never got to see part 2.
