Alex O'lachlan (Will) Wow!

Alex O'lachlan is brilliant as Will in Mary Bryant. To the Australians- was he on 'Secret Life Of Us' or any other tv series? Because I know him from somewhere. I usually avoid the aussie tv mini-series, because most of the time they are simply second rate movies that couldnt get the funding for film, but this was an exception. I was really busy but I found the time to watch the series and tape it, and watch it again. I hope Alex becomes the new Bond- that would be really cool if an aussie was Bond. I fell in love with him in this role though. Aussie charm and sexy English accent. 10/10 for Alex.

Well he cant be Bond, that role has been given to Daniel Craig (who is quite ugly, if you ask me!). This was pretty much Alex O'Lachlan's fist big role, he's a NIDA boy and really proved his talent in this mini-series, I can expect he'll go on to do great things.

I have such a renewed faith in the Australian film and television industry. This year there have been some great shows and films; 'We Can be Heroes' and 'Mary Bryant', 'Wolfcreek'... But I have had faith in the power of Aussie mini's since seeing Abe Forsythe's amazing 'Marknig Time' last year (Abe played Sam in Mary Bryant!).

I might have seen him on stage in a play then....
Daniel Craig always reminds me of The Power Of One, when he was the Kid who taunted Steven Dorff, I think he'll make a good Bond thought. I just heard Alex was Screen-tested for the role not too long ago.
I have to have faith in the Aussie film industry because Im in film school at the moment. I've seen Wolf Creek and The Proposition and Little Fish and agree that we are producing alot of good films this year, even on tv....
There were also a few tv series on NIDA students, who knows that might be where I remember him from.

I read that it might be him in the tampon ad, where he throws them to the kitten "mousy mousy mousy!" gotta look again though. might not be him. he's in the movie Oyster Farm, which is just coming out here (melbourne) locally

I saw it last night too, and I just happened to be taping the show for a friend, it's definately him! lol! mousy mousy mousy! I use that saying with my cat! except I don't use tampons! lol!

Yeah, I saw that ad recently. Even though I'd seen it before, I saw it with new eyes this time, cos I noticed that the guy was actually Mary Bryant's husband, lol!

I've seen that add before but it was ages ago and I didn't know who he was back then.

My cat has stolen one of my tampons before (not used I might add), it was pretty funny. Probably because it does look like the little mice toys we buy for him.

He was in the Oyster Farmer. I haven't seen that film but the promotion stuff for Mary Bryant said he was last seen in the Oyster Farmer.

So he was on Morning with Kerri-Anne the other morning. It was an old intervuiew from July and they were talking about the Oyster Farmer. So I had seen him before because I watched that interview the first time it was on. But i didn't know it was him.

If you want to request an autograph, follow the guidelines bellow. If you just want to mail a letter with the address above, and do not want anything back, then you can stop reading!

If you live in Australia send a properly stamped and self addressed envelope (minimum size 8.5" x 4") with your request letter and a photo.

You can include a piece of cardboard to keep the photo from bending in shipping and also add "Do Not Bend" on the envelopes.

Send your letter and wait. On average, there is going to be a 3+ month wait for a response.

If you do not live in Australia, add several* International Reply Coupons.
