Did anyone notice the little girl who played charlotte, she was soo cute but when they were running through the woods and she was being carried by the dutch lady, she was giggling, and then the lady put her down and they focussed the camera on her and she looked at it,....but very cute kid....ooh and also, i know this couldnt be helped, but both the children never got burnt or dirty whilst on the boat, whilst everyone else was. xx

Yes I noticed this too. She was obviously enjoying the filming of it. As for dirt going on them, they looked dirty to me. Perhaps the baby not so much, but it's trivial those kinds of things anyway. It was a good drama and I enjoyed it. And Romola is possibly the reason I saw it as the trailer for it looked good.

Don't read the book, go see the film.
