I thought the 'token' good guy was just to show the stark difference between him and all the other men there, though I guess that does show them all as 'bad'... but maybe it's like he says 'they're all thieves', maybe that's the point, they ARE all criminals, kind of... I was going to write something else but I forgot. I will edit this later it is poo.
But yeah, it did kind of show all men as rapists, but more how desperate they got because they 'weren't getting any'... oh I don't know. lol

Not all of the men took part, which, although it isn't mentioned, can be seen in the many decent male characters. But the women were so outnumbered by the men 1-5 that it didn't need all the men to over-power most of the women.

And it's not man hating, back then society was dominated by men and as such women were demeaned, it's not critising men, it's just showing some of the horrific things that have happened.
