Does anyone else doubt this whole story?

My main problem with this yarn is that 60 or more days were spent between present day Sydney and Bali(?) and virtually every day, if not every single day, would have been in blazing sunshine. And including the reflection from the water, the sunburn would have been excrutiating after only a few days, let alone 60 or more. Then it would become intolerable.

One for the 'Mythbusters' maybe...

All history is embellished.

It would not surprise me if there were one or two things that were exaggerated.

It all helps to make a good story.

Of course they take some artistic liberties for the sake of dramatization (I mean, would you want to see a sunburnt crusty chick?), but believe you me, this is a real piece of history, Mary Bryant was a real woman, she escaped from Australia and made it back to the UK not once but TWICE, and she was freed by one of the governors in London after much public outcry and the fact that the governor in question sort of developed a crush on her. Look her up. She's fascinating.

When was the second time she made it back to the UK ?.
