It sounds shallow, but I probabaly would have taken the safe option and gone for Clarke (with someone like Jack Davenport, it wouldn't be that hard to choose)

for looks I would definitely go for Clarke but he was a really weak character and looked like a really clingy type of guy which would have been rather suffocating.
Will was an all round better person really.
Clarke for character, looks, status. I know he did some bad things by our standards but not by his and Mary treated him badly. I don't see him as weak at all.

Was it just me or was Will not quite mean to Mary now and then? eg. after they escaped, he was almost vicious in the way he accused Mary of leaving Sam behind, even though it had saved all of them....and then in Timor the way he was jealous and quite spiteful when people were saying that Mary was the hero....even though it wasn't her that said it and she was always talking him up!!! Will did seem to love her, but a few times I thought... *ouch*. Just my take on it, would be interested to hear what you guys think.
To be honest i thought 'y on earth r u with will' really Clarke all the way he his amazin, and me being really stupid didn't actually click it's the same guy as in Pirates of the... (you all know wot) anyway ye CLARKE totally lush
