Salim has Distinctive, Vivid Touch as Director.

Salim has a distinctive, vivid and idiosyncratic touch as a director. I think he's a natural. Audiences need to see more work from him. (I'd love to see what he could do with a thriller!) Hollywood seems to have missed Sweet Land - it needs to take notice. There's some great talent on display here.

I second that emotion. This is a future classic, mark my words. As people see it and word spreads....it can be another "Shawshank". Something that no one saw in its theatrical release, that keeps on warming hearts as the years go by.
