Who else loves this film?

Am I the only one? I thought this movie was quite fantastic, but apparently lots of people think it's just a complete waste of time. To me, I thought it was a great story with a perfect conclusion that tied in greatly with the way the whole story was told.

Me. I thought this was an excellent film. It reminded me of the Machinist. This was a great story, well plotted with some lovely cinematography. The acting was realistic, low-key and really added to the creepy, brooding plotline. I liked how the director kept the motor running on idle throughout the film. I will be waiting to see his next venture. Maybe some people did not like it because they like what they are told to like: hokey special effects, improbable situations and bloated Hollywood acting.

Yes, finally someone intelligent finds this movie! The cinematography is simply amazing. And the whole thing really stands out from the average movie.

I don't think it's a waste of time, but it certainly is a wasted opportunity. People can come away from a film with some 'loose ends' in the plot, but this pushes things way to far. Your left with a feeling of indifference to the main character, and by the end, frankly, I could not give a toss about him or the film as a whole. I'd just lost interest. Don't get me wrong, I love Tarkovsky, Lynch, Jean-Luc Godard and the like, but this falls far short of even the shadow of their greatness.

I really liked this film and I know Andrew Hulse, the dude who played the main character.
