No more chit-chat?

I know there's a new SC out there, which I've rented and played, and enjoyed....

But c'mon! Chaos Theory is still such a fun game! Is everyone just going to abandon all of this? I think we should at least keep a little chatter going on this one....

Well. . . .what do you wanna talk about? think of something mad to say!

I never knew that after you choke-hold a guard, if you keep holding the left trigger through the choke, Sam will immediately turn the unconcious dude around while he's still standing and perform the fireman's carry. Saves you the trouble of dropping him, then stooping and picking him back up.

I read online about a way to make one agent on co-op mode invisible. Well, we tried that on X-Box but it didn't work. So I went back to Hokkaido, in the hall outside the room where Nedich is talking on his cell phone, opened the door behind the guard, then bounced a grenade off the wall inside the room. After they started to scatter, BOOM! One guy was hanging suspended in mid-stride right in the middle of the room!!

I'm so easily amused!

reply

When I first began Chaos Theory, what mostly disturbed me, was that Grimm had Mentioned several times, that Sam would be too old....Why was that?

\**Forgive me F@ther, for I h@ve sinnend, I keep h@vin dirty thoughts of M@rk!**/

reply

If memory serves, Sam is supposed to be about 41 to 43 years old at the time Chaos Theory is going on. There's one part of the game when Sam and Grimm are talking about a certain year when Sam spent most of the summer sleeping in a ditch beside a road outside of Kuwait (?). When Sam mentions this, Grimm says something like, "Dude, I was in the 10th grade!"

reply

Yes he said between Kuwait and Bagdad. I saw his Profile on Ubisoft Website, he was Born in 57, when Chaos Theory was released, they had INPUT some Profiles of William Redding, Lambert, Grimm and Fisher
Check there, thats why i said he would be over 45.

Ah, okay. I have to admit... I was given Chaos Theory as a gift, and it was the first splinter cell game I played. I tried doing the original after this one... but I guess I was spoiled by CT because I found the first one too frustrating to play, so I gave up after a couple of levels and gave it to a mate.

reply

I can imagine you had tough time with the first one.

But you know what i really miss, That SWAT MOVE, sam had in Pandora Tomorrow. What a shame it was just in Pandora Tomorrow, we could have needed it in Chaos Theory and DA.

Yes Sir! I @m @ Wom@n @nd you @re History!

reply

yeah I liked that move, you were practicaly invisible doing that. You know the 1st level of Pandora Tomorrow has a bit where you must stay in the light so the guard with night vision doesn't see you? That helped me on the last Double Agent level against Moss's men who have night vision(I have the PS2 version).

reply

Hey!!! Me too! I exactly did the same. It was really helpfull. This Level of Pandora Tomorrow crossed first my mind, when I got New York Level in Double Agent.
Lol, Sam was pissed off when Lambert told him to do that in Pandora Tomorrow. Sometimes its just easier to grab those old tricks from earlier Splinter Cells.

Me too I have PS2 version, i have never played on XBOX. though i would have to buy a XBOX 360 for DA.
