Just saw it at the Rue-Morgue Fest of Fear

I have to say I enjoyed it. It was probably because I was at a fest and had a crowd with me. If I watched it on DVD I cant say for sure if I would have liked it. The acting was really poor, the FX were competent and the story has been done before. I hope it was tongue in cheek, but I dont think it was. Lots of t*tty shots and "caged heat" for the guys. Id take a pass unless you are really into "C"(less than B) movies.

I saw it as well at the Fest of Fear and completely agree. I think the only strong acting came from Tony Todd himself. The leading female actress wasn't that bad but the rest of the acting and FX were pretty poor. I think the movie could have been alot better if the acting and FX were better, though the make-up on the zombies was well done. Overall I'd give this movie a 4/10.

One thing I forgot....Funniest part was one the zombies came out of the ground and one of them still had his doo-rag on. Twenty years in the ground and still in fashion.

The New YorkTimes just gave it a rave review today. They made it sound fantastic. I'm looking forward to seeing it.
