The new UNCUT DVD

Will the new 2-disc edition look the same as the "Grindhouse" trailer, or was that done as a joke? Because the original "R" rated print looks almost digital video, and I thought it would be cool to see with all the added video effects as seen in the Grindhouse trailer. Just wondering.
