Interesting movie but I can't stand Chief Connors

The plots are good and interesting. Kellie Martin/Samantha is very good as well as Clarence Williams III/Philby. What is also interesting is that you rarely see Samantha with a pocketbook or wallet. I don't know any female that does not take her pocketbook or wallet with her when walking or getting in or out of her car.

The movies also have a police chief in most of the series. I do not like his character. I have seen many mysteries where a woman involved in solving mysteries like Murder She Wrote and Agatha Christy have a policeman that does not like their interference. These movies "Mystery Woman" has Casey Sander/Chief Connors who is rude and cocky to almost everyone. He is too mean in these movies. To me he overplays the importance of his character.
