A thriller like no other

I've just seen this movie on SKY Italy. Paradoxically enough, this film wasn't given so much space in teathers, in Italy as well.
In its genre, this movie is very close to a masterpiece, and probably it's one of the best thrillers I've seen in the past 5 years.
In a time when thrillers are getting closer and closer to action movies, up to to a complete blur between the two genres, here we're back to the old school, finally getting back to a cleverly written plot, amazing acting and masterclass cinematography.
If you're missing masterpiece spy stories such as "Three days of the condor", this is your movie. Pity was that it didn't get the distribution it deserved.

Another issue, from an italian standpoint, is the following: who's Martelli???
All at once, a beautifully shot spy story, with an international cast, that doesn't match exactly what you would consider an "italian" film, and an unknown director. In other words, a serious piece of italian filmaking, and NOBODY talking about it. Was the argument behind the movie too uncomfortable??

A spy story itself.

The dialogue and acting are just awful in my opinion. In Italy, if you watch it dubbed, this may not be the case but seeing it and listening to it in inglese, Secondo me, non suona bene. The actors are bad and the lines they speak are just hammy. So its the combination of bad cast and script.
I wouldn't consider this a serious piece of italian filmmaking. It's not on the same level as thrillers like indagine su un cittadino al di sopra di ogni sospetto.
