How did she fake the peeling skin to pretend that she had changed?

That is what I wanna know. Am assuming she was given by scientist before Ben sent her to find son as a way of fooling them

I thing it was the stuff they showed in the trash as one other posted. Coating her skin and then pretending to be finishing her 'transformation' to convince them. Clever Girl!
