I am afraid our country is in danger of becoming this. No one is allowed to think differently from what the mainstream PC world views as 'acceptable'. We are always a better society & culture when everyone is allowed to think/speak as they believe, even when it is 'different' or not PC. Great breakthroughs are made when people are allowed & encouraged to experiment & speak freely w/o free of being bombarded with name-calling or labeled.

Then explain why today we have groups wanting ban words. We have Beyonce & other women groups wanting to ban the word 'bossy'. The NFL wants to ban the 'N' word, even though the overwhelming majority of black players are against it.
We have the IRS being used as a tool to target certain groups (and no the most recent cases are by far worst than anything ever done). We have the government spying on Americans w/o any cause. Turns out Senator Diane Feinstein, who was okay with the NSA spying on us, is now outraged that she was spied on. You can't have it both ways.

You can't ban words unless its yelling fire in a theater or something. Of course you can be charged for a crime but the words aren't banned. So your whining on that subject is pointless. You can say what you want but the constitution doesn't guarantee you don't get criticized for it.
The government was even worse in the past. J. Edgar Hoover spied on everyone and blackmailed his enemies.Don't forget McCarthyism also.
