Hurricane status (Katrina a year later)

I just turned this movie on, I'm 15 minutes into it thus far, so pardon me if my comment is premature.

This movie was filmed a year prior to Hurricane Katrina destroying the area. One of the first lines the Melissa Gilbert's character says in the movie is "you guys always say that the hurricane is going to wreck the world and it barely even ruffles the swamp grass". Little did they know what was about to hit a year later. I know it's just a movie, not a documentary, but I found that line to be a bit creepy.
