So did y'all love the new 12/7/16 NBC live version?

I did..they even had the full oength It Takes Two (cut very short for the film, though in the soundtrack), and people now can all see on screen (though live on the stage) Mama I'm a Big Girl Now (this could be a very good example of how Hairspray would work as an old time radio show, with the split screens being totally eliminated; like Peter Pan wouldn't need a physical croc, just the audience)., No Big Dollhouse, which may have been limiting and intrusive in the play..after all, Tracy and Mrs.Turnblad DO get put in jail for their trouble doing the civil rights marches, so maybe it would not have been even neccesary to do a whole prison scene, besides the original stage, Broadway CD soundtrack is always around..it always seemed to me that New Line/WB just shot it and cut it, and filmed "Mama I'm" & "Cooties" and then dubbed it onto the end credits, just like the New Line Cinema's exclusive "It Takes Two", shortened almost to non-existenc eoin the film, is in the CD....this sitll world touring play could, with the new version's success, even re open on Broadway (though it's got to top Sound of Music..)

No need to get nasty & call people names.
I thought it was okay, but I liked the 2007 version best.
