Achievement of goal -being remembered

Around 1990, I saw him interviewed on "Sunday Morning, with Charles Kuralt. He was frenetic, and obviously not playing with a full deck. I guess that no one could stop him from what he was doing, which ultimately led to his being eaten.

He was pathetic.

What an unpleasant and ignorant post.

It is clear that you have not read any of the articles online form bear experts/hunters about what led to his death because you would not deduce it was his actions that led to his and his girlfriend's death.

May Timothy and Amie RIP.

Ever tried, ever failed?
No matter.
Try again, fail again.
Fail better.

The guy was a fool and a jerk. So apparently are you.

I'm sorry that he got his girlfriend killed. He got what he was after.

Well, RIP and all, but I've read a *lot* of articles from bear experts about this guy, and every one of them agreed that it was his actions that led to the deaths of himself, Amie, and two bears.

Some of them are very kind, and some of them defend him in several ways, but none of them claim his actions didn't lead to their deaths or that he did everything right.

I think it was selfish of him to involve his girlfriend; I think if I was in her shoes, I would have never visited him at the Grizzly Maze. It was too risky....

I agree, he was mental- someone should have had him committed to a mental institution, for his own safety and maybe his girlfriend would still be alive today.

Or some type of intervention. Very sad indeed.
