Ominous comment towards the end

"We expect your retaliation. It is what unites us and divides you."
Except it is not true. 9/11 united the western world against the external threat, while the middleeast were divided between the moderates and fundamentalists.
The Iraq war divided the west, but that wasn't started by muslim fundamentalists. It was started by the USA without a proper casus belli.
Every attack on the west by muslim fundamentalists only serve to legitimize western intervention in the middleeast. Either the line was not thought through by the film makers or they just gave the line to him so they could portray his thinking.
