Surprised by the hate

The middle of the movie was a bit overdrawn and sometimes these cliched characters became too overwhelming. However, the beginning and end of the movie are hilarious and inspired. Several times, especially at the end, I was laughing out loud and thinking to myself how creative the set-ups to the jokes were. Like other people, I almost wanted to turn it off at times because the comedy was uncomfortably heavy-handed, especially during the middle. This said, I feel that this was a much more creative comedy than most that are churned out of Hollywood.
