When was this film set?

There was a relatively new model BMW 7 series being driven by the Russian Intelligence guy so I'd say that the present day action was set at least in teh early part of this decade (say 2003 / 2004).
The flashback stuff for the purposes of the old mans story were set at or just before the time of Stalins death so late 1952, early 1953.

2000 or such. Anna's mom is perhaps 90? 95?
