What ever happened to class 234?

What ever happened to class 234? Are they safe? Are they still Seals?

reply

Hey Monique,
I was the segment producer on 234 and had the pleasure of being there from the first day till the last. We had a small crew and well all got to know the students very well.
It's been a few years since I've heard from any of them but I CAN tell you that Lively got married in 2003 (he invited me and the executive producer to his wedding) A lot of the guys from class 234 were there and we all had a kind of reunion. They told me about being recognized all over the place and also what missions and operations they had been involved in, including the invasion of Iraq.
As for the others I know that 2 students who I won't name are no longer SEALS, although I can't get into specifics as of why.
But as of right now, they're all still alive and I'm sure they're still out there operating as SEALs.
Hope this helped Monique!

Come on!! If you can't tell why, then don't taunt us with it! I remember reading where one of the members was diagnosed with cancer. Just fill us in, we won't tell anyone...Any stories you'd be willing to share? I'm considering BUD/s in the next few years after I get my college degree, so I'd really like to know anything about BUD/s not seen on camera.

So, you're saying you're Delta? I can't imagine Delta selection being too much worse than this. Respect to both, they both have their strong points. I might see Devgru as the navy's equivalent to Delta.

Since this program is older. I am sure some of the people have retired or just have gotten out of the Navy.

Any more news, three more years down the line?

reply

Some carried on with their careers, some separated and moved into the civilian sector, and some have re-enlisted in the service after being separated for a few years.
