Julia is an awesome character, always makes me laugh, Asher Keddies great. Weird question, but I wondered if anyone had any idea what Julia actually does job wise. I mean first series she was a production manager, and in the second was pitching and directing t.v commercials. What would she have studied at Uni? Does she hae a parcticular job title? Its the kind of stuff i wanna do so i dunno im just curious if anyone with knowledge of the show or of the field can shed any light.

Really I can't stand the character of Julia. The actress is amazing in the role I just don't like the character that much.
Although there was one episode where she is wearing a dress I have which makes me like her more.
She is a brilliantly flawed character and my favourite to watch on the show.
Asher does a great job and is really beautiful.

I think she's a producer - she works with a director - the Asian girl, Becky (?) so she isn't directing. Maybe she took a step up from production manager between series...
Producers basically manage everything on the set of a TV production - make sure the client is happy, the budget is met, the right director is employed, everything works on the day, all the products are sourced, etc.
I think the character of Julia and the acting of Asher Keddie are brilliant. I was of the understanding that her job in series 1 was a production assistant. You can do a Batchelor of Media and Screen Production at Macquarie University at Ryde in Sydney NSW

I think she was a wodnerful person, flaws and all. Asher did AN AMAZING JOB with the character.
