season 3 spoilt by Dylan storyline

Fans seem divided over Season 3, the final season of this good Australian drama. I like all three seasons but feel season 3 spent far too much time on the Dylan storyline. To introduce a character in this season then devote so much time to him was odd especially when he was not a key character. The producers ran out of ideas I assume.
