Ending Help (spoilers) + OVA's

I didn't quite understand the ending. Can someone explain it, I might have messed something or maybe the manga better explained this?
1. Isn't all the spiders still alive, b/c they were forging the items in the auction towards the end, right.
2. Was Killua's brother hired to kill the 10 Mafia bosses, and at the same time as his dad(silva) & grandfather, hired to kill the spiders.
3. How many were episodes are there I watched to 62. Plus I have to OVA's each with 8 episodes.

Spoilers ahead (obviously...).

1) Only Uwo and that memory-gun-girl died (Hisoka dropped out, Corollo can't use his nen). The others are still alive.
2) Yepp!
3) There are more episodes, but not all manga are made into anime. The anime ends after Greed Island. First the "normal" HxH, then OVA and then GI.

GI ends in book 18. The last book (came out in Japan in october) is nr 26. Only 25 are so far translated to english. You'll get them cheep from Amazon.
