So who do you think would play (the English dub voices of) the characters on the show if...........
A.) The show was dubbed by Viz Media Entertainment, Inc.?
B.) The show was dubbed by Funimation Entertainment, Inc.?
C.) The show was dubbed by ADV Films, Inc.?
D.) The show was dubbed by Media Blasters, Inc.?
E.) The show was dubbed by anyone else?
4 Kids is OUT OF THE QUESTION!!! That's never going to happen with anymore anime of any kind!!!! NEVER NEVER NEVER!!!!!!!!! (I think.)
Would there be a difference? Dubs will suck 90% of the time regardless of what company is doing it. The real concern is whether they would cut out scenes. It does get pretty violent as the series goes on.
shareWell, not every English speaking VA (and actor/actress period) suck. They are not all that untalented. There are some cases when the anime/manga creators actually like the English voices as well as the Japanese Seriyu's voices. And the VA/Seriyus from both countries have a lot of respect for each other.
Not every thing dub in English is like how 4 Kids dubs/ruins anime.
As for the editing, unless it comes on after 12 midnight in the U.S., it's best to get the UNCUT DVD version. Almost all the anime distributors
release Uncut versions on DVD (with a sub version), unless it's a 4 Kids dub (who thinks all animation is for really little kids).
As well as my earlier question, who do you think would bring over HxH to the U.S. (not that people can't see it on the internet but still)?
