Frustrating Trend

Why are they now taking the client's word for who is haunting a location? They did not use to do this. An example of this would be a client saying that the ghost of Bob is haunting the location. They will now just take the clients word for it without any research. This is getting very annoying. So they will go investigate this location, and all night ask Bob to make a noise, or ask Bob to move something, or ask Bob to touch someone. I'm sorry, but this is wrong. What if there is a ghost named Jane or Joe in that location. Well, why would Jane or Joe answer them or do anything for them, when they keep asking Bob to answer them or do something? It's getting very annoying, and not very good for their credibility.... In the past, they use to have someone go out and research the history of the location.

Please go back to asking, "Is there anyone here?"...... not, "Is Bob here?"

I noticed that too. It's like they hurry through the investigations now. I love the background & history of these places. It's my favorite part. It is really foolish to assume "Bob" is the only spirit in the place, or indeed that "Bob" is even there at all.

It's like they're starting to emulate that *beep* Ghost Adventures show. If anyone gets "possessed", I'm officially done.
