Narrators

The main narrator is Jonathan Lewis, but the secondary narrator sounds a lot like Christopher Plummer.

One of the narrators who tends to read the letters written by Germans sounds quite a bit like David Mitchell.

I'm sure others have said it (or at least thought it) they should have used ethnic voices for the different armies. They seem to all be English. Example: a French soldier is reading with a English accent.

Maybe the Brits cannot follow accents very good? I don't know but it's a flaw in the way it was made.

reply

No it's not. It's only a flaw where a natural English speaker from, e.g. the USA is replaced by another English speaker who does not speak in an American accent.

Oh, and by the way, it's 'very well', not 'very good'.

reply

One of the narrators is definitely Ian Puleston-Davies.
