Yeah, it was a little pre-emptive when the DVD was released in Australia as "The Complete FIRST season", thus implying there would be more to come! I'm now seeing the set in bargain bins and cheap DVD shops everywhere!

If that's why this show stopped, I wish Kristie would put the weight back on so they could do a second season.

This show was deliriously funny. I was devastated that they didn't bring it back after the first season.

I think it was only meant to be on for a season. Because on the last episode, she acomplished her goal. Great show too!!

She joined Jenny Craig in 2005 ... lost a lot of weight.... so this show wouldn't make sense anymore as a result of that.
Right?

May 2009 and Alley is fatter than ever before. She's on Oprah promoting some new weight loss scheme. She's batty as a loon, but she's still funny and I would love to see a new season of FA. FA did not deserve to be cancelled after just one season.

Yea I agree. This show was pretty funny. If she didn't care so much about being so skinny, I think this show could have developed a good following. I definitely thought it was hilarious! But I guess, she would rather chose to be skinny than to be fat and have a successful TV show.

I just started watching it on Netflix. Brilliant show!
Kirstie is fantastic. Fat or not, I would love to see the continuation of this very funny show. :-)
