I liked it
It was actually pretty enjoyable.
I thought Usher did a good job of acting, Emannuelle Chiriqui and Chazz Palminteri handled their jobs well and the directing and editing was pretty decent.
The story is somewhat predictable and nothing totally unexpected takes place but I didn't get bored and I thought Usher and Chiriqui had very good onscreen chemistry.
They mix in classic mob movie references(the Don in the garden for example) with standard romantic comedy fare, comical side kicks, and themes of loyalty, friendship, betrayal, family and honor (albeit dealt with in a very light hearted fashion).
So if you are a fan of these actors or you are looking for 1.5 hours of light entertainment this movie could fit the bill.
Its actually currently available on cinemanow.com (May 10 2006), which is where I got it from.
So to summarize, I wouldn't say this is the cinematic masterpiece of the year, but I did think it was an entertaining well made movie which does not deserve the rating it got, and depending on your taste in movies you might find it enjoyable.
