This wasn't an English/Spanish movie, it was an English/Rioplatense movie. These peoples' accents were so thick I had to read the subtitles.
Esta pelicula no era en inglés y castellano, sino en inglés y rioplatense. Tuve que leer los subtitulos para cachar lo que decian los obreros.

pues yo como Brasileño residente en Madrid desde hace un año y medio lo entendi perfectamente... No todo el mundo viene de Burgos.

I have no idea what you are talking about. I thought they spoke clearly except for th fact that se comen todas las s' jajaja I'm from the US but lived in Argentina. I thought they found pretty normal people instead of the ones that Cronica gets.

You are confused because of the accent, just that. There is no such thing as "rioplatense language".

ohhh you learnt chilean, not spanish. that's the problem.
