I've seen the trailer and it looks so much better than the other spoofs but the trailers are almost always better than the film itself, id like to see it but if its not worth seeing then i dont want to waste my time so would you recommend it?

I thought it was WAY better than any of those other so called "spoof movies" altogether. I'd definatly reccomend it. I gave it a 7/10.

I'm a little late but I agree. Although it suffered from some Pop Culture references that lack funny, this movie was far more like Naked Gun than anything in recent years. I'd say it's definately worth a rent.

Absolutely. After the last several spoof movies (And reading bad reviews on this) I rented it and was surprised how good it was compared to the last few spoofs, (Meet The Spartans, Epic Movie, Disaster Movie,Date Movie, Scary Movie 3,4) This wasn't like a bunch of skits moronically tied together, the film had an actual plot it followed from start to finish and had some really great laughs along the way.
Thank the Gods for NETFLIX!!

shareNo. I gave it a shot but you'd think I would learn after all the other "movie" titles. It's pretty bad. Only a few good parts. Almost as bad as Date Movie. If it doesn't have Shawn and Marlon Wayans' names on it, it's guaranteed to be bad.
shareThe reason, I think, this film has such a low rating is because people who enjoyed the other spoof 'Movie' series by the Wayans went to see it mistakenly thinking it was by the same people. I've always found those films deeply unfunny, like it has been said, just a series of pop culture references with nothing else. Just comedy for people that don't usually watch comedy.
This film's title interestingly has ripped off the popularity of those films (I would have thought the 'movie' suffix was copyright actually, although it's maybe too vague) when it is usually inferior films piggybacking off better ones.
That said, this is hardly a classic but if you enjoy Naked Gun/Airplane style silliness and slapstick with a few decent pop culture references I would recommend this for a few laughs. 7/10.
Compared to most of the recent spoofs including Scary Movie which I would personally award 2/10. Not my sense of humour at all.
