For everyone's sake I hope me and my roommate are the only ones that noticed this, but the opening in this movie is essentially THE EXACT SAME OPENING of the 1986 flick, "Night of the Creeps." 9 years its prior. That is all.

shareThe opening premise may be similiar but it is by no means the "exact" same opening. In Night of the Creeps, there's a ship being chased by another ship. Said ship has little white aliens running around and one is carrying a canister with the Creeps in it, which is then ejected into space.
In Raging Sharks a large spaceship crashes into a satellite/small space station and the canister leaves the explosion of the two.
