SERIUSLY NYC IS WHERE THE BEST VMAS ARE!! ALL THE GOOSE BUMP MOMENTS WERE ALL THERE! AM I RIGHT! I MEAN HO RLLY CARES ABOUT SEEING BOATS? UCHH CMON NYC HAS THAT PERFECT ATMOSPERE! THESE PAST 2 VMAS SUCKKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UCHH ITZ LIKE WATCHING THE BET AWARDS! SERIUSLY AND DONT SAY OHH THEY SHOWED ROCK 2! WELL REALLY OUTAA THE HOLE NITE IT WAS 80% BLACK ARTISTS/RAP..UCHH AND ONLY 20% LIKE ROCK/POPISH.I HATE MTV FOR LETTING "DIIDYY" HOST THE VMAS HE IS SUCH A BAD HOST..UCHHH..NO BODY LIKES MIAMI OR THE HOLE SHOW ON RAP!

I deffinitley agree with you so much. this year completely sucked and I can't believe how self-centered Diddy is. I mean seriously, no one gives a *beep* about why and how he changed his name, and his entrance was so stupid. oh, and R.Kelly's performance made me cry. That guy is so sad and desperate, he wasn't singing he was just acting like a freakin' clown on stage and his song is the gayest thing I've ever heard. Its so sad what has happened to music, it was all about rap, hip hop and r&b- ewwww!

It may be ignorant, but its still true. Btw, why is it even ignorant? Thats how I feel about what has happened to MTV, all the songs they play sound exactly the same. And how can you not admit that R.Kelly's performance was the saddest thing you have ever seen?

I agree that the dominant music was hip-hop...the VMAs will be much better if they bring them back to NYC. It just seemed like hip-hop, hip-hop, hip-hop, and greenday...I love hip-hop, but I noticed the pattern as well.
