about 20-30 minutes into the movie when they are going back to johnny's house in the van after the cop/fish scene there is a song playing. im not a big fan of reggae so i have no idea who it is.

i know 2pac sampled it on his first album in 1991 so its not a new song. does anyone know the artist and title of this song?

I think it is Pirates Anthem by Shabba Ranks. Great song about pirate radio.

it's "johnny was" by bob marley from one of it's first albums RASTAMAN VIBRATION

nope. i think BWD is right. Pirates Anthem is the song on the van radio. Tune!
