Went to see Johnny Was in Trocadero as part of Raindance and the producers asked the audience to post what we thought online so here goes. Pretty Good.

I thought it should of decided whether it wanted to be a genre action flick or a drama, but in a way having one foot in each is maybe what made it different.

The rest of the audience seemed to like it, and I thought some of the lines were very good. The action scene in the big warehouse was good but some of the shootouts towards the end were a bit TV movie, but the music made up for it and the ending was a good twist.

The guy who introduced the movie was Vinny Jones manager and I can see why - this is the best acting he's done by a mile, but I suppose running through walls in X Men in a rubber suit doesnt need much acting. In this one he acts a much more complicated character.

All in all a pretty good movie with good characters, and a few really good scenes as well as a few lame ones - Lennox Lewis stands out.

So, who won? I don't see it at the Raindance site.
