Good Movie

I enjoyed this movie. I particularly liked the music and really enjoyed
Lennox Lewis's acting! I thought the weakest part of the movie was
Samantha Mumbas' depiction of a junkie... she was not credible at all.
I have never seen a junkie that looked so clean and sober. Oh, wait!
How could I miss Roger Daltrey... great job.

Daltrey rocked, but real pity he was not in it for longer. Three appearances. Why has he never done another lead since McVicar? He was great in this and in that.

Lennox Lewis was really good and it was good to see Vinnie Jones actually acting. A much more thoughtful movie than most lo budget action flicks. Next time gimme more Daltrey!!

Beware this message board it is RIPE with marketing people posting Love IT statements. I hope the movie is good, but I'm annoyed that they practice this.

I think the lady playing the junkie is not bad. Not every junkie look like they are almost dead. If she was too far gone then the Eriq La Salle gangster would not want her around. Vinnie Jones is hot and I liked him in Shes the Man, but the ending is too sad. I like the fish seller guy too.

I thought Eriq La Salles yardie accent was pretty good - does he have family from there?

Good little crime flick.

Dude, just because this happens sometimes doesn't mean EVERYONE who likes this movie is a studio shill. Some of us just happen to think it's a good movie.

aiight at best.

LaSalle's accent was good 92% of the time. Sometimes slipped.

Mumba was gorgeous of course, a bit wooden acting-wise. Nice start.

"LaSalle's accent was good 92% of the time. Sometimes slipped."

In the movie, he was supposed to be a London boy who went to Jamaica for a few months and adopted the accent as part of his image.

The most unbelievable bit was Vinnie Jones pretending he was Irish who'd "had the accent beaten out of him at school".

And the junkie girl; I've known junkies who were physically healthy. As long as it's not cut with poison, heroin doesn't destroy your body. She was stealing pharmaceuticals from a hospital, then got her stuff straight from a dealer, so no problems there.

On the whole, not a bad movie. But seems it went straight to video, can't find a single review online....

Very average 5/10

Not all junkies look bad. Look at Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, AJ McClean, Lindsay Lohan, the tons of models that are junkies, nope not all junkies look like bums.

Yeah, I really enjoyed this movie. I was surprised that it's got such a low rating.

Totally agreed on Samantha Mumbas. Didn't look like a junkie, didn't act like a junkie, incapable of looking high. Director might have wanted to give her just the most basic notes, like, "For the love of God, watch 'Trainspotting.'"
