Iron Maiden kicks ass and so does this video

Last summer I saw Iron Maiden with Dio and Motorhead. It was one of the best shows I've ever seen. Maiden still performs at top notch and Bruce is awesome because he talks smack about the current state of music, radio, and television. He even promoted the bootlegging of the performance and old Napster.

A guy from work let me borrow Live After Death. It's impressive to me that Bruce was fighting the likes of *beep* music even back in '85. Seeing Maiden back in the day must have been an awesome show.

Thankfully, Iron Maiden hasn't lost a single step. Bands like Metallica become radio friendly mild rock bands but old timers like Iron Maiden still manage to keep metal alive and well.

Live After Death is a must see for any Maiden fan or someone who wants to get a taste of what Maiden is all about. It looks dated with all the spandex but the music is not. They could be the greatest live band of all-time and Live After Death displays the sheer immortality of Iron Maiden. LONG LIVE EDDIE!

Thank you for hosting this topic. Live After Death is truly polished, all out kick ass live album. I would go even farther by recommenting it to all music fans. This is the standard how all live albums should sound like. My favourite track is Flight Of Icarus, from the masterpiece Piece Of Mind album. Up The Irons !!!

I haveb't heard the album but the video is pretty good. Bruce struggles in Aces High but gets stronger and stronger through the night. Awesome set though! I liked the Live at Donington 1992 video better, that was a great video.

I bought LAD yesterday and have seen clips of it. It looks tremendous. Picture quality and sound are top-notch. Iron Maiden were always the real deal live.

Watched The Trooper, Flight Of Icarus and Powerslave, as well as bits of the extras.

Would love to see Iron Maiden live. Been a fan of their music for 20 years. It's just so expensive to see them at Sheffield's Motorpoint Arena.

"Hey! Ladies! That was fun!"

They certainly did in this video! Awesome concert from their best tour ever!
