In one of the early missions, when you're being briefed in the field tent, two soldiers near the opening of the tent are named "Gordon" and "Freeman" respectively.

It be true, lol, 2 days ago I spotted it mslf and told it to my GF who's a HL fan ;

Yeah, I noticed it when you leave the tent, crossing the field. remember half-life 2 came out about the same time.
