Which campaign you liked the best?

I think Russian campaign (again) was something awesome. It was also the hardest but irl german soldiers were experienced in eastern front than in western front.

I also like the russian campaign most, in both the Original Game and the Add-on. The atmosphere is just awesome and it isnĀ“t as "heroic" as in the other campaings, like the British...

American Campaign also rules!

reply

The Russian Campagin Kicks ASS. It is the best. It is like the movie "Enemy At The Gates"( the original one). I was very excited to play it. And yes it was the hardest among the three campaigns.

reply

Ist game I would say the Russians, but the second I would say the American campaign. I never played Medal of Honour so it was all new to me. The Russian campaign in UA was great (as was the British) but I found myself constantly replaying the Battle of the Bulge.

Rent Sam Fuller's "Big Red One", because - as I am sure you are all aware - CoD is coming out with CoD, Big Red One for assorted gaming systems. No PC version, which I would prefer. I actually didn't like first person shooters for X-Box.

For me, nothing's has the cool factor like the RAF mission where you're onboard a bomber shooting away at Germans, with your "kills" marked with Iron Crosses (although why they weren't swastikas I don't know)...

reply

I agree with most, the russian campaign really did it for me. I loved the entire Reichstag mission, and the Stalingrad/Red Square missions especially. Pavlov was also good. Stalingrad was tense.

The first American campaign didn't do anything for me, but the Battle of the Bulge was excellent. So was the Capture and Defence of Pegasus Bridge. I think they owe a lot to the music coming in at the end. Very dramatic. Very much reminiscent of Platoon if anyone's seen that.

I was reading in the paper yesterday, that apparently on that day (3rd October) in 1941 (I think) Hitler declared the Soviet Union defeated, and that it would never rise again. Isn't it amazing that the Russians later pushed them all the way back to Berlin.

All Luftwaffe aircraft had the Swastika painted on the tail and the Balkan cross painted on the wings and fusalage. The reason it doesn't appear in the game is because the displaying of the Swastika is still banned in some countries. (including Germany)

Goddamit, I'd piss on a Spark Plug if I thought it would do any good! (Wargames, 1983)

Oh, I'm sorry, I thought history was history. Nevermind accuracy, just as long as we're all politically correct, right? *rolls eyes*

I loved the RAF mission it was hard core I was yelling take that you Nazy basterd as they flew by. It was so much fun running back and forth doing things in the plain.

" No PC version, which I would prefer." lol PC is gonna arguably be the biggest release of the platforms, for CoD2

reply

Don't even bother with "Big Red One", Call of Duty 2 for PC is by FAR and away the better game. Having played both, I can say there's not even a reason to pick up BRO after playing CoD 2.
