i was always under the impression that she didn't really know her real mom, she mostly was raised by step moms and maids or a nanny i think, as far as her dad is concerned, idk why we never get to see him, there was an episode where he was there but you can only see his security guards blocking him and even when he danced with london, he was still surrounded by security guards 
