HI FROM CHERIE BENNETT-I WROTE THE NOVEL

I've really been enjoying reading the comments posted here about the movie, especially from those of you who read and loved my novel--thanks! And for those of you who keep asking who wrote the novel...um...it's me. The novel is published by Scholastic. They are reissuing it, but at the moment it's hard and/or extremely expensive to get a copy. You'll find some through Amazon but they'll charge you a mint. Scholastic is doing a huge print run on the book but in their infinite wisdom they aren't going to have it back in book stores for a few months. Go figure. You can buy the play version which I wrote after the novel more easily, also at Amazon. The play is produced all over the country, so you might be interested in having your school produce it.
