Knife fight scene
Who else thought that the big knife fight with the insurgents was one of the most bad ass hand to hand scenes in a war movie?

Actually, I kinda thought that was the worst part of the movie, except for maybe the torture camp scene (which was even more implausible). Terrorists who are so cowardly as to send children to blow up innocent civilians are'nt likely to be noble enough to discard their M16s and take on trained military personnel in an even battle with knives, dontcha think?

I think the director might have played Counter Strike in an only-knife-fight level and thought it was so cool he had to have one in a movie...
... but then again... we had Rambo running around with a 3 feet knife killing americans and in another movie vietnamese people and in the third one russians or was it afghans?
... either way... US Army people looks to be better trained as knife fighters than gunners haha

That scene was so fake. The soldiers had no chance. The insurgents didn't drop their machine guns. They have no reason to. They could just go and shoot the soldiers. There is no way the soldiers could have survived that, except that the script made it so.
