When is this going to be in a North American release?

Is this series set to be released in NA or Europe with an English translation?

I would be shocked beyond belief if Strafbat gets a wide American release. I bought it on DVD in Russia, but with no english subtitles. My best advice would be for you to try to track down specialty shops in Russian neighborhoods to get it. Or come over to Russia and get yourself a copy :)

I got the Chinese version it has english subs with it :)

I bought the version with english subtitles on ebay for about $17.99 canadian.
A very good investment, for one of the best warmovies I have ever seen.
The version I have, was a chinese release with korean, japanese, mandarin,
cantonese or simplefied chinese subtitles.

Hopefully soon! It's been on for two episodes over here in Finland now and seems to be rather good.

After watching five episodes, the problem with the show is that the story is really, really slow. Plus, it's otherwise going nowhere, too.

The first half was slow, terribly slow, I was hooked by the second half, though.

I did not find this movie slow at all, you just have to pay attention to all the little stories that goe on.

It wasn't slow for me either. It deals with some otherwise very interesting issues.
