Am I the only one?

Am I the only one that thought this was THE most boring piece of drivel to come out of Australia since Home and Away and Neighbors? I couldnt even make it through ONE episode, much less the whole DVD. *shakes head* It was in NO way whatsoever funny. I wish I had been warned before I rented the damn thing.

Yes you are

blasphemy! Theres a special place for people like you...it's called hell, that's where you can join everyone else without a sense of humor. Chris lilly is one funy man/woman/twins/schoolgirl

reply

Have to agree with you there walking felony69 (sorri dont know your name)
it just shows how much people are losing their sence of humor. that show has GREAT australian sence of humor. and everyone that i have shown it to has laughed!!! even a new zealander laughed!!
gosh!

reply

this show was shown on abc.. as is spicks and specks and the glass house, of course it hilarious.. lol..

reply

This show is hilarious. The glass house, however is painfully unfunny. Wil Anderson is so bad and karin is the most annoying woman in Australia.

reply

i agree!! im the only one at my school who hates the glass house. its just a pile of cheap crap :P they laugh at their own jokes...

reply

what do you mean by "even a newzealander"? im a new zealander and me and basicly every single one of my friends have watched this and summer heights and we have all laughed. "i call this one usher because he soo looks like usher! hes so hot!"

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

yep.

reply

if you dont like this then what do you prefer?

'I looked up fubar in the German dictionary and there's no fubar in here'

reply

Person that didnt find this funny has no sense of humour.

reply

Everyone just have a look at the original posters ID name, in particular the "NZ" part, that explains everything. The kiwis can't even laugh at themselves let alone other countries, especially Australia since the whole under-arm bowling thing.

Pop-Pop gets a treat?

reply

If you're from outside Australia, you're going to have to watch more than one episode of We Can Be Heroes before you get the hang of the humour. Give it a chance. It's COMEDY GOLD.

reply

Obviously you have no sense of humour then...because this show is brilliant, on so many levels.

reply

Kiwis just hate everything Australian, even though they are so alike (they hate hearing that too).

reply

ah, no they dont. i am half kiwi and half australia but i live in oz and go to nz quite a lot...dam i hate it when ppl say that

reply

Not necessarily, I've only been here for a few years and therefore I'm not your true blue fair dinkum Aussie, but I love this show, especially Ja'mie, the Indigeridoo bits and the lovely Pat Mullins... i shall roll all the way from Sydney to Uluru in her honour one day.

reply

No.

reply

It's so very typical Aussie humour, especially Daniel and Nathan, it's easy to see why NZers don't get it. Don't get me wrong, it's probably the best thing (not the worst thing) to happen for Australian telly for a long, long time.

My favourite line:

"Ruby got rooted by a dingo the other day"

I grew up around guys like them and my God, they are so on the mark. As are all of Chris Lilley's characters. He (and his co-producer) researched the show brilliantly.

reply

I agree, it's very Aussie humour and I can understand why anyone non Aussie wouldn't find it funny. Ja'mie is so real, it's scary. Take it from someone who went to a school just like that.

If you're Australian and don't find it funny, then you don't have a sense of humour. End of story.
