Oh, good god... you guys are all still here!!!?

I don't know why, probably out of sheer boredom and/or nostalgia, but I felt like swinging by these message boards and... nothing's changed. Really?

So, how's things been, guys? Is Timmy still shilling round here, or has he moved on to pastures new?

Baba O'Riley... the best song in the world

Tim has been hard at work cutting yet another version of the movie. We're all waiting to see it.

Don't worry i will. Dredd might not be perfect but at least it's a proper film made by a proper company. these guys aren't worth discussing or for that matter even thinking about.

..." Dredd might not be perfect"...

Dredd 3D, the much-anticipated (in some quarters) action sci-fier, opened at no. 5 on the North American box-office chart, with a dismal $2.23m at 2,506 venues...

Yes a stellar pic if I've ever heard of one.
Much better board for you to haunt.
Bet you're one of those screaming "sequel, sequel!"

Now run along

Dredd's not my ideal representation of the character and as we discussed on that part of Imdb there might have been some reasons why it didn't do well in the cinema, such as poor advertising.

But when it came out on dvd it was the top selling dvd for a while. at least it's a proper film made by a proper company though instead of your amateurish friends.

reply

Proper film by so called proper company = yet another major flop.
Just like this <ahem, coughs> cinematic endeavor.

Now kindly attempt to keep your word and leave. Instead of tripping like a 5 year old OD'd on too many pixie sticks and continuing to post here.

Unfortunately, not by American movie-goers.

The budget seemed way too high for a movie set in a tower block. If they'd started with something cheaper, they might have made a profitable franchise.
