Dredd's not my ideal representation of the character and as we discussed on that part of Imdb there might have been some reasons why it didn't do well in the cinema, such as poor advertising.
But when it came out on dvd it was the top selling dvd for a while. at least it's a proper film made by a proper company though instead of your amateurish friends.
Proper film by so called proper company = yet another major flop.
Just like this <ahem, coughs> cinematic endeavor.
