I think she hadn't performed live in a few years and was a little nervous.

I think that she was sick (sore throat) and out of practice.

I too thought that she was out of tune and forgetting words. The fugees had too much hype comparing to the actual performance. Imo, it was one of the worst on the DVD.. Plus the fact that MTV powerplay ruined them for me.

The Fugee's reunion was deffinaely the low-point of Block Party for me too.

The performance had been built up throught the duration of the film and when it finally arrived, it was dreadful. Absolutely tone-def and flat.

Its a marvellous film, well worth the money. Just dont get high hopes for the Fugees!

I didn't notice anything odd about her behavior performance or behavior in her interview. I don't think I've ever seen a show where words weren't missed and she wasn't even the only one in this movie.

I did notice that Kweli's voice was very hoarse though it had nothing to do with being "wasted".

I think she was just on weed..

She stopped using since the break up of The Fugees, (and that’s a long time) but stop doing drugs completely as a personal choice.
It was her first time on stage since almost the break up of The Fugees, she did try a solo thing but it didn’t work out, so she was super nervous on stage.
She only does weed during a show, iv seen her live b4 with The Fugees and she and Clef was always smoking on stage and throwing joints to the crowds. (The good old times!)

She looked dehydrated during her interview but that’s normal weed effect.
Then finally after a long time.. she performed,.. and wasn’t the best.
